What will you be paying?
Site surveys
- From £1000 +
- May include Laser Measurement surveys and Topographical surveys (What are these?), CCTV Drainage surveys.
Householder Planning Application Fee
- £258
- Payable to the Local Council
Certificate of Lawful Development Fee
- £103
- This is applicable when your project falls under your Permitted Development Rights. More information here.
Building Control Plans Check and Inspection Fees
- Between £900 – £1500 +
Structural Engineering Fees
- From £600 – £3000 +
- This will vary depending on the complexity of the design.
Party Wall Surveyor (if needed)
- £200 notice, from £900 – £2,000 + (per award)
- You will need to notify your neighbours of any relevant works being carried out under the Party Wall Act 1996. See here for further info.
Thames Water Build-Over (if needed)
- From £343
- Most residential applications will be for pipes up to 160mm diameter where the £343 applies. There will be an additional 4 hours of work for us to generate the design/manage the application on your behalf. Details on TWBO’s here.
