Design Brief
This is an exciting development in Surbiton, Surrey where we are demolishing a part of the existing 5-bedroom dwelling to make room for a completely new build, alongside a complete refurbishment of the current house including extensions to the rear to create two seperate houses. The brief was to build 2 eco-friendly homes and to ensure that the new house will complement the existing while bringing its own modern touch to the street scene.
The Eco-friendly features will include:
– Solar Panels
– Heat Pumps
– Eco-friendly materials
Including features like this will improve the Ecological footprint of the property and will save the homeowners money.
Sustainability
We endeavour to think sustainably in every thing we do, and aim to create energy efficient buildings that save you, the homeowner money.
Solar Energy
In 2018, the AURA team had the pleasure of meeting Dr Chris Jardine, who is the Technical Director of Joju Solar. Chris gave us a great insight into Solar Energy and how it can be implement to residential properties to improve the sustainability of homes. He gave us an insight into:
– How they work
– How to maximise the efficiency of your panels
– The average payback for a householder
